Field sales
Sell Anubys. Keep a share of it.
There are thousands of independent pet shops, groomers, trainers and daycares in the UK, and almost none of them have heard of us yet. That is the job.
- 20%of the first orderPaid on every new account you open
- 5%of everything afterFor as long as the account keeps buying
- Self-employednot salariedYou invoice us, you keep your own diary
01 How the commission works
Two numbers. That is the whole scheme.
- 20% of the opening order. Paid once, when a new account you signed places its first order.
- 5% of every order after that. Paid for as long as that account keeps buying and you are still with us.
- No cap, no accelerator, no quota to unlock it. The rate is the rate from your first account to your hundredth.
- No draw against commission. You are not carrying a debt to us if a month goes badly.
02 The arithmetic
What that actually pays.
Opening orders start at £500 ex VAT. Most land higher, because a shop that is going to stock you at all wants enough colours to make a display work.
| Opening order | You earn |
|---|---|
| £500 ex VAT | £100 |
| £800 ex VAT | £160 |
| £1,000 ex VAT | £200 |
| £1,500 ex VAT | £300 |
| £2,500 ex VAT | £500 |
Then the account reorders
Reorder minimum is £250 ex VAT. How often depends entirely on how fast they sell it.
| Reorders a year | Average value | You earn a year |
|---|---|---|
| 4 | £250 | £50.00 |
| 6 | £250 | £75.00 |
| 6 | £400 | £120.00 |
| 12 | £400 | £240.00 |
These are worked examples of the commission rates, not a forecast and not an earnings promise. What you make depends on how many accounts you open and what they order.
03 The rules that stop arguments
Written down before you need them.
On cleared funds, not on the order. We invoice the stockist, they pay, you invoice us, we pay you within 14 days. Nobody is ever chasing commission on an order that was never paid for.
Whoever registers it first. Tell us who you are going to see before you see them and it is yours, so two reps can never walk into the same shop a week apart and both claim it.
Every order that account places after its first, for as long as you are still repping for us, and for 60 days after you stop.
Commission is reversed on anything refunded or credited. It comes off the next payment rather than being invoiced back to you.
We do not carve up the map. Go where your contacts are. The registration rule is what stops you treading on each other.
04 What each side brings
Straight swap.
We give you
- A full sample set at cost, yours to keep
- Trade price list, stock position and lead times
- The photography and social pack shops actually want
- A named person here who answers the phone
- Your accounts registered the day you tell us about them
You bring
- Your own transport, phone and diary
- Self-employed status, and your own tax and National Insurance
- Public liability cover if you are going into premises
- The contacts, or the willingness to go and make them
05 Being clear about the arrangement
You would be self-employed.
Not an employee, not a worker on our payroll. That cuts both ways and we would rather say so now than have it come up later.
- You decide your own hours, your own route and your own methods
- You can rep for other brands, as long as they are not ours
- You invoice us. We do not deduct tax or National Insurance
- No holiday pay, no sick pay, no pension, no notice period
- No basic salary. If you open nothing, you earn nothing
If that does not suit you, say so at the application stage rather than three months in. It is a real arrangement with real trade-offs, not a technicality.
06 Apply
Tell us where you already have doors open.
Existing accounts in the pet trade are the thing we care about most. If you have none but you know the work, say that instead.
