Trade terms
The terms we trade on, in the order you will actually need them. Written to be read once and referred back to, not to be got past.

01These are business terms, not consumer terms
This page applies where you buy from us to resell. It is a business to business contract, so the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 do not apply to it. Those protect your customers, and they still apply in full to the sale you make to them.
If you are buying for your own dog rather than to resell, these terms are not the ones you want. Our consumer returns and warranty policy is.
02Becoming a stockist
We approve applications case by case. We are looking for a business that will actually merchandise the range rather than list it and forget it. We may ask for a company number, a VAT number or trading references.
On approval we send you the stockist agreement. It restates these terms as a contract, collects your trading details, and is signed online. Nothing ships before it is signed.
We can decline an application, and we can end a trading relationship on 30 days written notice. We will not do either without telling you why.
03Prices and orders
- Trade price is 30% off our published RRP, quoted and invoiced ex VAT.
- Opening order minimum £500 ex VAT. Reorders £250 ex VAT.
- Delivery is free on every trade order to a UK address.
- We can change RRP and trade prices with 30 days notice. Orders already accepted are honoured at the price you were quoted.
- Everything is subject to stock. Where a line is short we will tell you before we ship rather than substitute without asking.
- Lead time is up to 30 days from cleared payment. Most orders go out well inside that, and we will give you a date when we accept the order, but plan your buying around 30 days rather than around our best case.
04Resale price
We publish a recommended retail price. That is all it is. You are free to sell at any price you choose, and nothing in this agreement, in any conversation with us, or in any incentive we offer is conditional on the price you set.
Setting a minimum resale price is a hardcore restriction under Chapter I of the Competition Act 1998. We will not ask you to hold a price, and if anyone at Anubys ever implies otherwise, they are wrong and we would like to hear about it.
What we will commit to, because it is our own pricing and entirely within our gift: we do not sell below our published RRP on our own website. If that changes we will tell every stockist before it happens.
05Payment
- Your first 2 orders are pro forma: we raise the invoice, you pay it, we ship.
- After that you can ask for 30 day terms. We will run a credit check and tell you the outcome. Terms are at our discretion and can be withdrawn if an account falls behind.
- Late payment carries statutory interest and compensation under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998. We would much rather ring you than invoke it.
- Title in the goods stays with us until we have been paid in full. Risk passes to you on delivery.
06Faulty goods and warranty
Stock that arrives faulty or damaged: tell us within 7 working days of delivery and we will credit or replace it. Photographs help.
Shortages or wrong items: same window, same remedy.
Your customer makes a warranty claim: send them to us. We honour the lifetime warranty directly with the end customer, on the terms set out on our consumer policy page. You do not process it, fund it, or hold stock against it.
Your customer’s statutory rights are against you, because you are the seller. We handle the warranty as a service to you and to them, but that arrangement does not transfer their legal rights to us, and it does not discharge yours as the retailer. Where you have had to put something right for a customer under the Consumer Rights Act because the goods we supplied were faulty, come to us and we will make it good.
We do not accept returns of correctly supplied stock that simply has not sold. Order to a level you are comfortable with.
07Brand, photography and how we are described
We give you our product photography, copy and social assets to use for selling Anubys products. That licence lasts as long as you are a stockist and covers nothing else.
- Please do not alter the logo, recolour it, or set it in another typeface.
- Please do not register domains, social handles or marketplace storefronts containing the Anubys name.
- Please do not list us on a third-party marketplace without asking first. It is usually a yes, but we need to know where the range appears.
- Do not repeat any claim about the products that we do not make ourselves.
08Liability
Our liability for any order is limited to the invoice value of that order. We are not liable for loss of profit, loss of business or indirect loss.
Nothing here limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not permit to be limited.
09Data
We process your business contact details to assess your application, run your account and take your orders. Our privacy notice sets out the detail, your rights and how long we keep things.
